What kinds of cases can be examined by the arbitration court?

The parties may refer to arbitration all disputes involving property or non-property rights connected with the audiovisual market that can be the subject of a court settlement (ugoda s±dowa), specifically regarding:

  • pre-production, production, post-production and the distribution of films, as well as formats and other types of television programmes, advertisements (commercials) and other audiovisual materials, whether copyrighted or not, hereinafter referred to as ?audiovisual materials?,
  • co-authors, artists, performers, technical crew members, producers and distributors of audiovisual materials,
  • interpretations of agreements, the performance of obligations, the division of responsibilities and competences of parties to legal relationships directly and indirectly connected with the execution of audiovisual materials,
  • financing, settlement and access to legal, accounting and technical documentation directly and indirectly connected with the execution of audiovisual materials.
